Ways to Create eBook and eCover Design

Sorry I was a bit too busy with other assignment lately. How's thing getting on?

If you have yet to create your own eBook, there are thousands of such products online that you can get the rights to re-brand and use as your free copy. Once you decide which eBook to keep, the next step is to download load it to your folder.

But, what if you decide to create your own eBook? Here, I am going to show you how you too can create an eBook that you will be proud of. The first step is to get yourself familiar with a small program called pdf. This program was actually invented by Adobe Systems. PDF is more secure and dynamic compared to Microsoft Words. That’s why individuals, businesses, and government agencies around the world trust and rely on pdf files to communicate their ideas and vision.

Pdf also has a built-in protection mechanism that disallow allow someone else to simply change the contents. This is critical as you do not want people to tamper with the copy when you send it out.

In the last 2 articles I did discuss quite in details how to publish eBooks using programs called Pdf Creator and Pdf easyWriter. Today we’re going to discuss on similar topic but using different software program called CutePDF Writer. This software is actually free and does a good job creating a basic PDF.

Here's how to Create a PDF/eBook

• Decide a topic. Write your article. Save it in Words.

• Open up your document that you decide to convert into an eBook

• Select Print

• Click on the Drop Down menu in the Print Window

• You will now see Cute PDF as one of the options

• Select Cute PDF

• Click OK

• Place a title to your eBook

• Decide a location where you want to save the eBook on your PC

• Click Save

• You now have a PDF version of the document on your computer!

Who says you’re not creative? Now you can add whatever design you want to your document either images, graphics, pictures etc, to make it look more presentable. But if you still decide to buy an eCovers Software for your product I suggest go for the quality one. There are some really good eBook covers around but the only problem with them is too expensive to buy. 

For example the newest version of Photoshop retails for either $699 or $999 depending on which version you get. The hardest part is you need to be experienced in using this type of graphics software.

Someone was asking me whether we really need a cover at all. Yes, you really do need a good eCover for your eBook. This will help you to get even more sales. An eCover will instantly add value to your eBook. It will help buyers think of it as an actual ‘product’ instead of just seeing it as digital information.

Lucky enough, there are online alternatives. These websites allow you to create 3D eCovers using Photoshop Action Scripts. Of course you've got to pay some money to acquire such products. All you have to do is to select the style of cover you want, select a background image, add text and submit it for instant processing, depending on what type of package you are buying.

Creating First eCover

Hi,

For the past 2 weeks or so we've been discussing on how to create eBooks. I even uploaded some eBooks creator for you to download. But there again, having eBooks alone does not promise you anything.

As I keep saying in my training classes, there was a simple test done quite recently where two sales letters were tested against one another to measure response. One had a strictly text design. 1. PC or Laptop

2. A software called 'Adobe Photoshop CS4'

3. and the most important one, the Photoshop Action Scripts.

Creating eBooks With eCover Pro For Free

I've one question to ask? Would you rather sell someone else $10 eBook and given a $5 commission for the effort you've done or would you prefer to have 100 people selling your $5 eBook and earn the same $5 commission per copy? If I were you, I would rather earn the $5 from the efforts of others.

It's nice to have you here again. Today I'm going to give you a complete package of the PDF Creator for free. The package comes with a complete step-by step tutorial together with the software. You can download the package directly by clicking on the download button below.

CREATING AN eBOOK WITHOUT INCURRING A SINGLE CENT

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how you can generate your own eBook without spending a single cent. In actual facts there is a lot of free software available in the market that allows you to create your own eBooks. Examples are NVU, Portable Document Format (pdf). eWriter Pro, Easy eBook Creator and a lot more. However, the one that we are going to discuss today is none other than PDF eBook Creator.

PDF eBook Creator is an open source software that you can use and download for free. Click on the link provided to install the software.

The program is very simple to use and can save you ton of money over the other Adobe product line. It's so simple that if you know how to print, then you know how to use this program. You can chose any versions of the software that you may have. However, I suggest that you choose the latest one. PDF Creator also incorporates other security features including password protection options. Installation

STEP (a)

1. Well the first thing to do is download the PDF Creator software and install it on your PC. Click on the 'Download Now' button.

2. Locate the program that has just been installed.Click on the "set-up" icon.

3. The welcome screen will appear as below.

4. Select the 'I accept the agreement' radio button















5. Select the Standard Installation.














6. Click Next














7. Click Next














8. Check the boxes provided. Then click Next














9. Click Next.














10. Click Next














11. Click Next.














12. Click Next.














13. Click Next.














14. Click Finish.















15. Open a desktop screen. Double click on the PDF Creator icon to run the program.
















16. The screen below will appear.







17. The next step will take you to your PDF Creator Software Main Menu screen as below.









STEP (b)

1. Open-up your Microsoft Words.

2. You may start writing your essay or any articles you wished. There is no restriction on the no of pages you decided to use.

3. Upon completion, save the article on your desktop screen for easy file retrieval.

4. Now you may close the Microsoft Words.

5. Go back to your PDF Creator.


STEP (c )

1. Open your desktop screen. Double click on the PDF Creator software icon as indicated.







2. This will navigate you to the following window screen as illustrated below (refer to STEP (a) above)









3. Click on the Document of the main menu. Select Open. Locate the file that you've just prepared as in the STEP (b) 3 above. OR Simply drag the file to the PDF Creator main screen as shown below.










4. In the next screen that appear, you are allowed to make adjustment or alteration you like in the space provided.

Once finished, click on the Save button.


















5. The following image will appear.





Your article will be automatically saved in PDF Format on your desktop.
